I just got a Samsung LED TV. This 55 inch, WiFi enabled beast has many features, and most of them are great. HOWEVER, they boast how great the apps are, but that part of the device doesn't work at all. I can't download apps, I can't use the pre-installed apps, and the "support" people are completely useless. They charge a small fortune for this device by lieing to the public. Stay away from Samsung, unless you enjoy throwing your money out the window.

I have a LN T4042H Samsung LCD TV--paid $1300 for it; manufactured in 2/07. About a year ago it started making the clicking noise when it was turned on--it has progressively gotten longer and longer to power on--now it takes about 10 minutes before it will power on. I am sure at some point it will fail to come on altogether. This is a known issue that afflicts numerous Samsung products--a faulty capacitor, according to the numerous posts about this issue i have read here and on other sites. I called customer service and was informed they offer free repairs for this, but only if this model was manufactured 04/07-06/07. SO, SINCE MY SET WAS MADE 2 MNTHS BEFORE, I AM TOLD SAMSUNG WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. IT IS LUDICROUS THEY CHARGE $1300 FOR A TV THAT LASTS LESS THAN 3 YRS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY KNOW DAMN WELL THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE COMPONENTS, BUT THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING--DO NOT BE A FOOL--DON'T BUY SAMSUNG, BOYCOTT SAMSUNG. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

If you are one of those people who buy electronics to decorate their house rather than using them, Then Samsung is perfect for you. it doesn't cost much and it looks awesome. The moment your tun it on, however, everything changes.

I was given a samsung monitor on my birthday. less than a month later I had bright spots on the four sides of the screen and the center was dark!

I have never paid for a samsung product and after this incident I probably never will.

Bought Samsung Fridge 3 years ago. 1 year ago started having temperature problems. Had service tech fix it. 4 months later, same problem. Had service tech fix it again. 4 months later same problem. Contacted Samsung in writing. They covered a one time only out of warranty service order. 4 months later, same problem. Contacted Samsung again in writing. Got told the Fridge is my problem. $1200 for fridge, $200 in repairs, 3 years...hmmm...I think Samsung sucks!

Samsung went to far this time with the software update on the Vibrant. It is too late. I hope it goes out of business. Never again Samsung.

Ah yes. I had a problem with thei blu ray DVD player. It rejected most discs as unplayable. Even brand new ones. I did some research and found out many folks had this problem.

I reached out to samsung and still have not heard back. Went to CNet and found user rating for that product was 1.4 stars out of 5. Exact same complaints as mine. So, this was a known issue. I then found out the 1 year warranty doesn't count for labor. So, for my $130 piece of shit, I could spend $30 to send it back and $80 on labor.

Fuck them in the goat ass. I took a baseball bat to it and bought a Sony. $130 and it has internal wifi built in. Also used Costco this time, as they automatically double the consumer warranty to two years.

In closing, I will still have tangible sweet revenge. I am a member of the 'consumer union', which just means I subscribe to Consumer Reports. Every year they send me a detailed survey asking if I had problems with any products in the last year.

Samsucks no match for apple at all

I hate Samsucks bcoz I did ever use it and i face the fucking experience bcoz of it. I trade my money to the worthless shitty. oh no -o-

Samsucks lure people to buy their prodect by the very very cheap price but I absolutely sure that they use very low quality material follow to their prices.

Shitty Samsucks copy everything from the others, but they are still having alot of blind fanboy out there.

LG > Samsung, i prefer LG to make your life good.

The problems you all had with your products is because Samsung treat their engineers like shit. Samsung employees are slaves. Samsung managers demand employees and contractors to work (at least) from 9am till 12am!. This way engineers can't deliver quality products; but as millions buy they cheapy shity tv's and phones then they have the money to have literally armies of engineers working 24 hours a day in the worst working conditions you can imagine. Can you imagine to work in a closed "office" 9ft x 9ft without windows with another 10 engineers miles away from your family (I've talked to a korean engineer the last time he saw their son was 3 months ago)?... in christmas!!

Please, I beg, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG products. Their products are bad. Buying those represents everything America is not! If you buy them you are helping to promote a modern way of slavery.

Please, buy products from companies you know treat their employees with dignity and under fare working conditions (like Nokia, TI or LG)

I have a Samsung Vibrant phone from T-mobile. Before it was Android 2.1, you can almost run 2 hours if turn GPS on (vs. Google Nexus One can turn on all day long.) After a long wait for upgrade to 2.2, it doesn't seem to improve much, but introduce new problem: the Galley app, duplicates photos itself. Sometimes it duplicates 4 times of the photos, and sometimes it duplicates 5 times. It can sometimes go normal. Just by whatever the phone's mood I guess.
I am also a software developer. I am trying to make apps for Android phones. My program works all fine in Nexus One, Moto Droid X2 and the simulator, but some features don't work in 'Samsux' Vibrant. It really sucks.

Yes, Samsung sucks royal balls. I am one of many who bought one of the US variants of the Galaxy S. 8 months later ( and 2 worthless "fixes") the gps is still broken, no voice dial, email is buggy, week wifi antenna, looses cell connection ( but still shows full bars) and requires restart, and the phone locks itself out. This has happened 3 times, the pin code wont unlock the phone ( says its wrong) and it has to be factory reset.

Online and phone support is worthless. Now I'm stuck in a 2 year contract with a total piece of fucking shit. Fuck you Samsung and your shitty products.

Next time I'm getting HTC. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FUCKING SAMSUNG ANYTHING. I HAVE HAD TVs and monitor and other Samsung crap that has broke down prematurely on me now that I think of it.

Dealt with Samsung Canada two years ago over a home theatre unit - absolute nightmare, it took months of calls, they lost the unit, lied ,reneged on promises, sent a "refurb" that still had food encrusted on the buttons from the last person, scratched, wrecked unit that I was expected to accept as the replacement for a nearly new unit. Now the power supply has gone on the big LCD tv, stuck paying for repairs since it's out of warranty but in some ways that's easier than dealing with Samsung. Will never buy their products again and I share the reasons why with everyone I know and with sales people in stores when they try to steer me to Samsung products. I recognize that mass produced electronics can fail but their horrible service stands on it's own as a huge corporate failure.

A couple of weeks ago my family was watching a movie together on our Samsung TV. Suddenly and spontaneously a spark shot out of the TV and it went black. We called Samsung. They have a subsidiary, Video Tech Center in MD. Video Tech Center sent out a guy, Rich, to see if the TV was covered under the warranty. Rich came out and looked at the TV. He explained to us in great detail exactly what had happened. One of the pixels was out of sync and it caused the TV to implode spontaneously. He said that it would be covered under warranty and that he would be out next week to repair it. The next week we got a call from Samsung stating that according to Video Tech Center the damage was due to a “point of impact” and as a result it was not covered under warranty. I told them that that was not what the repair man from Video Tech said. So we got Rich the repair man from Video Tech on the line and he confirmed that in his judgment the TV spontaneously imploded. The operator from Samsung agreed that according to the guy they sent out the TV imploded and was not damaged by my family. I thought that now that the repair man who had actually seen the TV had told Samsung that the TV imploded and that it wasn't due to a point of impact, it would finally get fixed. Unfortunately, this didn't make any difference because the only thing that counts was what was in writing. The following was the written report on the TV: “Physical damage caused by point of impact. Not covered under warranty.” Samsung and Video Tech center both said that Rich is not the person who makes the final determination. The final determination is made by the person who reviews Rich's report and “interprets” it. So I asked to speak to that person. Specifically, I asked to speak to the person who consulted with Rich and then wrote the two sentences: “Physical damage caused by point of impact. Not covered under warranty.” That's when things got really strange. Several different operators from Samsung told me that the two sentences came from Video Tech Center. So I called Video Tech Center. I spoke with a supervisor there, Mitch. Mitch at Video Tech Center claims that 1) The text came from Samsung, not Video Tech Center, 2) all they sent Samsung was photographs, no text, 3) as a matter of policy, they never give any write ups to Samsung. All they do is send photographs and let Samsung do the diagnosing. Both sides are adamant that the other side is lying. This seems very fishy and unprofessional.

recently purchased a Samsung wifi enabled blueray player to stream netflicks. Player if horrible... refuses to acquire a signal and after at least 10 calls to customer service including their "executive" level svc, they refuse to support the product or provide reasonable answers. NEVER PURCHASE ANY THING WITH SAMSUNG ON THE BRAND

Have a fai amount of experience with Samsung products. They are garbage. When stuff works it is ok, their problem is QA. If you have been around Samsung you know about the Slimfits. Also you know about their BD players. I have had three Samsung televisions 2 needed to be sent back. I have had two Samsung HTS systems, both have had to be sent back. This has been over a period since 2006. When it comes to buying electronics I had always been taught to avoid cheap chinese and korean crap. Now I know why.

I have bought a s5560.
This mobile phone looks pretty good, but in facts, it really sucks.

You have a ton of options for it, and u will have to adjust them all the time...

There are many options for the cam, and u cant save them...

The wifi connection is so troublesome... DNS errors, no response from PA...

WTF this crappy sound? I had a samsung player mini, with a much better sound than the s5560.

And why am i able to watch mp4 on the player mini, the same mp4 that is said to be "to high resolution" for my 5560.

And i cant believe how difficult it is to put a new widget on it.

When i ask samsung for answers, its like i spoke alone.

What is that fuc***g Touchwiz? The touchscreen is way more too sensible. U want to drag a thing, but it will execute that thing.

Nice!! You have a lot of widgets... to remove!! So many of them are useless, like the widget showing your operator name in the middle of the screen, and u cant even tremove it.

This phone has everything to be loved, and nothing to be used...

SAMSUNG sucks!!
SAMSUNG sucks!!
SAMSUNG sucks!!
SAMSUNG sucks!!
SAMSUNG sucks!!
and forever!!!!!!

1. I bought a Samsung refrigerator 3 years ago, and after 3 years the inside the freezer side door start cracking. As you know freezer side is used less than the refrigerator side. I have contacted Samsung for answer and they have responded by saying that it is normal wear and tare, which is not part of the warranty. If I want to fix the problem I have to replace the door which it is almost half of the price of the refrigerator.
Overall, I have never been impressed by the operation of the refrigerator unit and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Samsung not only suck, and they are rat as well. Korean company Samsung is notorious in unfair competition. They alos steal people's invention and never respect other people's patent. Why they don't care and not customer server? because Samsung is supported by Korean gov't and they will never bankrupt. Good luck if you purchase any samsung product. I will rather go buy Chinese product at least is cheap and I expect to be broke in 6 month. I understand the concept of cheap price = cheap quality.

My 56" Samsung DLP TV starts displaying green lines and/or freezing and occasionally shuts itself off. To make it work again, I have to fiddle with it until I can get it to shut off properly. After the fan finishes cooling the bulb and the TV completely shuts off, I have to unplug it or it will not work next time I power it up. Royal PITA.

My Samsung Blu Ray player has never worked well. It consistently freezes during disc previews, FBI warnings, etc. Rarely will it ever make it to the disc menu without some intervention on my part (e.g. using the remote to skip tracks until I hit the menu or ejecting/closing the disc bay [which somehow magically fixes the problem sometimes]). I also experience weird playback issues from time to time, such as the movie playing in a small box in the center of the screen rather than full screen.

Samsung sucks, and I will not be purchasing another of their products.

Do not ever buy Samsung. I purchased a LED camera. It lasted 2 months. i then spent 5 months dtrying to get them to honour their warranty. They make you jump through hoops, never ending phone calls, emails that don't come, ship it here and there. How they are a legal company I will never know. They essential steal from people and with impunity.

In the past few years I have had a samsung LCD TV which would lose HDMI connections from the source, known problem but no recall. I have a samsung android phone, wannabe iphone, that runs slow and locks up constantly. I purchased a Samsung LED LCD TV (I know I didn't learn), it came with a 3D bluray player and this piece of sh*t constantly freezes playing DVDs and also loses connection to the samsung TV. Samsung just throws out products out there with no regard to quality and this is apparent. I am convinced their promary objective is to copy Sony and Apple and make aesthetically pleasing products with no quality. Research their products before buying. I am done with samsung.

recently bought a samsung 55" lcd tv and the picture started to get dark in the right hand corner and then I would loose the picture completely. Sent out to get fixed. When I got it back after about 3 hours the pictured dimmed. Now I have no picture at all. Now I am waiting for someone to get back to me. Will never get another samsung again.

Purchased a HM1000 Headset today, paired it with my phone, turned it off. It didn't come with a manual but I figured I wouldn't need one. Then I turned it back on, as I got into the car- and it decided not to work. Now without a manual, I go to their site- and can find several pages trying to SELL me this thing, but none actually willing to tell me what the hell to DO with it. Honestly, this should be illegal- there is no support at all!

Sent in HT-AS 730ST/XAA Home Theater receiver for repair and it started doing the same problem. Called Samsung and they want $80 for me to send it back for them to repair. Repair what they did not fix or replace with another defected part. It would be best for us to part our ways. No more Samsung coming into our home. Going to start dumping all the products on the net for the next sucker.

My item was at end of warranty when they made first repair but do not seem at all concern with standing behind service problems!!

After dealing with Samsung Customer support for the past month, I gotta say. If your are purchasing their products from retail. DO NOT FORGET TO GET THE WARRANTY/INSURANCE!!!!

I've been without my Nexus-S for a month now. Here's my experience timeline
09/01 - phone down, called CS(Customer support), told to call again next day to speak with ECR.
09/02 - called ECR in the morning, with their supposedly more resources. Best they can do would be 2-3 day ground shipping. Shipped the phone myself with UPS next day.
09/06 phone arrived Samsung Headquarter's dock at about 10 am. Called CS, said that it'll take about 7 to 10 days to repair.
09/07 phone arrived to Technician (Service Center) around 4 pm.
09/09 received e-mail from Samsung, they don't have the parts to repair. Contact CS, told me that the order for parts is already placed. CS doesn't know where they ordering parts from.
09/16 called CS and patched to ECR. John/Jon said that the part is ordered from Korea and expected to arrive on the 28th. Other option includes: downgrade my phone to something older, give me a bluetooth headset, or a car charger. I declined it since it doesn't really make sense. In the conversation with John, he also said that if there's a replacement they can locate, they'd do it right away, but the ETA for a replacement phone is uncertain at this point.
09/27 called ECR in the morning, rep Eric said he'd sent in another note to experdite, also a note for overnight shipping, and the part should arrive that week.
09/30 no updates, called CS at 4:40 pm, patched to ECR, on hold for 45 minutes. Called CS again at 5:35 pm, asked about ECR's office hour, idiot told me it's 9am to 7pm during weekday. (somehow she insisted on Central time)
Transferred directly to voice mail at 6 pm. Called CS right back, left my frustration.
10/03 Called CS=>ECR again, spoke with another ECR rep Peter. Said that there's nothing they can do except tell me to keep waiting. Told them what John has offered me before and then asked, which one of you is not telling the truth. Said that he has a meeting later and will bring my case to attention and will call me back in the afternoon. At 4 pm, got a call from Peter, he'll place an order to one of the warehouses, and that I should be hearing from them later this week or early next week. Once the phone is in, they'll ship it overnight.

Now, it's a nasty long story, but if you follow closely. John said that Samsung will send me my old phone back or the same model if they can locate; while Peter is saying that there is a replacement phone from one of the warehouses? The story will continue later on.

By the way, from my personal experience, the phone number mentioned above is no longer valid. So might the 21 days rules. If you contact them through twitter MIGHT help. From what I read so far, they could help you analyze the issue, but they can't do much given it's online. As for facebook, your review/question will be overwritten by about 5 to 10 other positive review within 10 minutes. No point leaving it there is what I'm thinking. Leaving a voice mail? "Best of luck" is all I can say.

As for Samsung ECR, almost everyone you called will say that they are a supervisor, which might be true or completely bull, I can't prove either way. I'll continue to post this on where I can to let people know about my experience with their ECR. As far as "Executive Customer Relations", they are not worthy of the name. So far, what they do best is to give me a false promise and stall.

There are no words in the English language to properly describe how bad I hate Samsung customer service. After suffering for many years with poor customer service from Whirlpool, I decided to make the switch to Samsung upon the referral of a Lowes employee. I needed a refrigerator after my less than 5 year old Whirlpool died so I shelled out $1500 for a bottom freezer Samsung. Since then, we have bought Samsung HE front loading washer and dryer, Samsung dishwasher, a couple of Samsung computer monitors, two Samsung cell phones, and a Samsung microwave. 2 months short of the refrigerators 3rd birthday, the icemaker stopped working. Long story short, after wasting several hours on the phone with customer service, they refuse to send a $30 part to repair my icemaker so that I could do the repair myself. After going all the way up to the supervisor's supervisor, I got the same answer....NO. I'll gladly spend the rest of my life bashing Samsung customer service and their products. I will never buy another Samsung product as long as I live and will tell everyone I come in contact how bad they suck. $30 would have been a small investment on their part to avoid the much larger loss in sales that they will experience because of this. I'm thinking of starting a website called www.samsungsucks.com

Samsung sucks because they just don't know how to make anything original. I rented a car in the middle east, it was a Samsung, I mean Nissan Maxima. I had a Samsung printer, it said PC LOAD LETTER. Samsung TVs look just like LG TVs. The only thing they are good at is COPYING over and over and over again, which is why they are such a successful manufacturing company. But that's just it, Samsung is a manufacturing company, not a consumer electronics company. They don't know how to design anything fresh and innovative. May this message be of inspiration to some of their employees who might be able to come up with some great ideas that get acceptance at the top. Good luck to you, I can't even put linefeeds in this post because my Samsung phone sucks too. Time for me to make a difference and go buy from their competitors. Oh yeah, Samsung sucks because the only way they can be competitive in the marketplace is to sue other companies and have their products banned.

I have an Apple Iphone4 that I love. I bought a Galaxy through my phone company as a gift for my husband as they were offering a good plan. I have struggled desperately to figure out buying Apps and not enough storage issue. I've had to repeatedly contact custermer service. It is extremely difficult to use and a pain. I wish I had waited and got him an Iphone!

Contacted Samsung from their site and didn't received even the confirmation. So many people complain about WiFi problems with their Android phones and they do nothing. You cannot even access their site in different language than the Country's language, ex. there is only Greece-Greek, France-French so foreigners cannot contact local support. So stupid.

Samsung suuuuucks!!
Apple should sue them for their commercial!
And samsung should ban from every country.
How dare they mock apples customers! Their new add is an insult to a lot of people. They should apologize.

Complete and utter crap.
Had 100% failure rate with their computer monitors in the last 3 years. We have sold over 50 screens
and all of them have died. Most start failing withing warranty. Samsung puts you through hell to do repairs. OR they will try to swap it for some model crappy low end model that typically is much less expensive than the model that failed.

I have had several that were 'repaired' only to come back with the exact same problem - NOT repaired... or fail within a few months with the exact same problem. Of course the second failure is just past the warranty expiration. Their response... tough shit. But a new monitor.

We are aware of the famous 'bad cap' problem that has plagued many manufactures but this is years past when that first cropped up. Is suspect Samsung just does not give a crap and continues to make substandard equipment.

NEVER again with ANYTHING from Samsung.

My Samdung mobile phone takes pictures and not all of them appear on the PC when I connect to the USB port. micro SD card disconnects and reconnects randomly while in the phone. I lock the phone and it still dials in my pocket. Samdung doesn't want to pay for licensing for a real touch screen (capacitative) and opts for free and crappy resistive touch screen. camera is 1.2 megapixels. I hate this phone.

I bought a HT blu-ray and, separately, the surround sound speakers about 3 years ago. Paid about $1,000 for the 2 together.

The blu-ray had 2 issue within the year. They kept it forever and did not fix the 2nd problem.

Now the blu-ray won't load discs. I need a new blu-ray that I can hook up to the speakers.

GUESS WHAT??? They don't sell the a blu-ray HT player separately!!!

You have to buy the HT in a box.

So, what do I do with my $500 speakers?

I've spent 3 hours trying to get "samsung support" (an oxymoron for the MORONS that are samsung. Couldn't get anyone NOT in the Philippines. They all have the one line, "I understand and I can help you with that." I immediately ask to be connected with someone in the USA and they put me back in the queue. The next person is in the Philippines, also, and the volume on the phone is now 1/2.

I finally did get someone in the USA (I was LIVID at this point) who was very nice, was going to transfer me to a department that sounded like what I needed, and gave me the number). When transferred, it was a fast busy. I called the number and the recording said to call 1-866-SAMSUNG. WHAT A JOKE.

So, I tracked down the physical Samsung building in NJ and the directors.

I took me forever to find the phone number. Nothing on samsung's site but the 800-saumsung.

I called and asked for Tim Baxter, President of Consumer Electronics Division, and the snotty operator wanted to know what it was about. Told her I wanted to know why I couldn't buy just the HT receiver. She transferred me, and Mr. Baxter's phone rang for 5 minutes until I finally gave up.

I'm 99% sure I'm going to smash the whole system into pieces, FEDX it to them and tell them what they can do with their fine products.

Here's the board if anyone needs the info.

Samsung monitors are cheap because their drivers are crap. Even if Samsung bothered to correct or update their drivers, good luck figuring out how. If you value your time and need quality equipment, use a different manufacturer.

I bought a Samsung Front Loading washer and dryer less than 2 years ago and I have had to have the dryer repaired at least 6 times. The first time being within the first 3 months. The belt keeps getting shredded and comes off. After about 4 times and $175 per visit, I told them that I should get a new one. They told me that since each occurance didn't happen within 90 days of each other, than there is no way they could do that. Of course, the warranty is out and I am still having to pay. I am going to continue to write these complaints everywhere I can possibly write them until something is done. We paid alot of money for what was suppose to be a wonderful set of washers and dryers. Now I have am making my way to spending the whole amount again. Samsung does NOT stand behind their products!!!! They suck!!!!

I made the mistake of buying a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate running Android 2.1. I am a Mac user and Samsung gives no support for the Mac. That would be understandable if it was 1998 but after two years of complaints Samsung released Kies for Mac and it simply does not support this phone. The woman at Samsung support asked if I could borrow a PC to use for the upgrade. Asshole.

This is only one of many problems I've had with this phone and I will never use or endorse a Samsung product again.

Every Samsung Device I've ever had has broken under normal use, just outside of the warranty period. The quality of their products is so bad, I wouldn't even pursue a replacement if the device was still in its warranty period. I never buy samsung, I only get their "products" as "Gifts". I had the screen fracture on my samsung phone from the heat difference between my hand, and the cold air outside. The very large and expensive samsung TV my father bought 3 years ago has half burned out and is un-fixable, last, the new samsung droid that I was given had an out of the box battery life of 4 hours, if I remembered to turn of the wifi, bluetooth and 3g data capabilities when it is in my pocket, otherwise it works for about an hour. Never buy samsung, put these fuckers out of business.

Unrecognized USB Device constant popup with sound (plug in / unplug something from usb ports sound)Have spent several days and even found forums discussing issue. Called Samsung gave them all info asked if they would sell or send us the original drivers and software disk so we could get this job done. They said no that we could pay to ship laptop to them, they would reimage with factory software for $40 and then we could pay return shipping totaling $120 for all of that not counting cost of hard drive on a two year old computer. I think it's stupid that they have a device that they won't provide the windows 7 driver for. I know after a lot of work and research it's tied to the USB SD Card reader so I called them again and they said to send it in so they could take care of it. I told customer to scrap it and buy from anyone else that would offer better support.

Samsung does not stand behind their product. I have a Samsung HLT6756W and am having the same "white dot" problem as many others.

I spent hours with Samsung chat representatives (ticket number 5103215558) and was, finally, assured Samsung would step up and replace the bad chip at their expense. But then Samsung reneged on their promise. Samsung claimed that while Samsung is aware of the white dot issue, there is no record of my particular Samsung DLP TV, HLT6756W, having any white dot issues. Well, I’m not OK with this. Samsung needs to step up and do the right thing, i.e., replace the bad chip at their expense, just as they originally promised.

For me, it’s not just about the money involved to fix the problem; it’s the principle.Samsung is aware of the white dot issue and to lamely relinquish responsibility like they have is deplorable. So I registered a domain name, samsungsrvicesucks.com, and unless Samsung steps and makes this wrong right, I will do my part to spread the word that they are not a trustworthy company to do business with.

Samsungsrvicesucks.com will include hyperlinks to all users with same white dot problem, along with an online petition. If support is significant, perhaps a class action lawsuit can get launched.

If we allow companies to behave badly, they will continue to do just that, behave badly. Samsung needs to be held accountable.

It would power on, but the display would flicker briefly and go out. Samsung told me they would send a technician and it would cost me a couple hundred dollars to fix. After going back and forth several times, I realized how difficult they intended to make it to get the issue resolved. I tried taking some paper out, and then it says, 'paper tray empty' (??!!!!. I am not a fan of this printer!!!

I have a Samsung cell phone also that I want to upgrade at some point, because it is too touchy and easily turns on by itself if it's bumped around a little in my purse or bag when I KNOW I turned it off, I don't find it user friendly when I want to find my contacts, and have to manually punch them in just to find them, which is an annoying inconvenience, among other features about it related to the keyboard.

Seems the parts are "unavailable" and the next beefier part is being used up like mad and so on. Example, main board for the 55 inch tv is so popular to fix the 46 inch tv that they are unavailable. Since they are modular and easy to fix, that means they knew what they were doing by under beefing parts for the lower end of the spectrum models, size wise. The lack of parts proves their shit breaks ALOT. EXACTLY WHEN THE WARANTY RUNS OUT !!!!!!!! Samsung self destruct timers are the best in the world.

I am going to sleep and dream of smashing, burning, and defecating on samsung products. I am so tired, I want my life back, I am not an employee I am a customer. I have always understood when something breaks... you fix it and stop doing what broke it. With samsung products this is not possible. Samsung needs to understand a warranty is not a, "die date".

Samsung LED TV is only 2.5 years old. Never had a TV last less than 5 or 6 years. My first and last Samsung. Their TVs suck. Their customer service sucks. The customer service rep. told me I needed to upgrade the flash through USB drive. I had to laugh because I told her the TV won't turn on. She swore this would fix it. You can't argue with stupid! They have a huge problem with their Power Supplies - even in the new TVs. $3000 down the drain as far as I am concerned. Going to buy a SONY or an Apple TV if they ever come out. Would love to know if any TVs are made in the USA anymore.

Don't buy a Samsung TV ever!!! They have major problems with Power supplies and the do not own up to their problems. My 2.5 year old LED has the power supply problem. Piece of Crap!

I am a complete dissatisfied customer of Samsung. I was a complete and loyal Samsung consumer until now. I have many Samsung products and all will be phased out. The reason why I am so upset is that I have a 67” DLP Samsung TV which I bought at Costco back around 2006. I know that this TV is no longer under warranty and I completely understand. I replaced the lamp and ballast and it appears after some further investigation that the two large capacitors on the main power supply may be bad causing my current issues of the TV not working where also my three lights on the front of the TV are flashing saying that the LAMP or BALLAST is bad which were just replaced. I talked with one of Samsung’s product repair technicians and they said that since I replaced the ballast and lamp myself that they will not fix my TV. I told them I understand it isn’t under warranty and I will pay to get it fixed and they still refused to fix it since I opened it up even though it isn’t under warranty. I told them I am a repair technician myself and work on all kinds of stuff warranty and not and usually when things aren’t under warranty people try to sometimes fix things themselves and then send it to me if they can’t fix it and then I charge them. Even after all this talk and hassle they still refused to even take a look at it even if it costs me more “if I messed something else up in the process”. I am furious… I then talked with Samsung directly and was told that no matter what it is TV, phone, refrigerator, etc even if it isn’t under warranty and a customer opens it up to even attempt to fix it themselves that they will not touch it. I asked them where does it state this information given to me and they said in the warranty info. WARRANTY INFO?! It’s not under WARRANTY! Samsung has lost me as a customer and I will be sure to let everyone else know the issues I have come across with Samsung and will never recommend them to anyone. What about my TV? I will fix it myself for it doesn’t take a Samsung service technician to fix it. But I will phase out all my Samsung products…. I urge you as a Samsung consumer to understand that if you open up anything Samsung related don’t expect a Samsung service tech to fix it for they don’t want your money at that point even when it isn’t under warranty. What about other brands and their service technicians? Samsung has to be one of the only ones that are doing this for everywhere else I have gone with different brands etc they will fix it (not under warranty) and send me the bill even after I opened it up. If I messed something up when opening it they fix it and charge me. This just means my bill would be much more since I messed something up; unlike Samsung where they will just not touch it. With this all said and done I strongly do not recommend Samsung and will urge anyone to move their business elsewhere.

Samsung should be called Samscum.
After a bunches of issues with firmware on my Led tv. From pink tint or hue I replaced the tv with a dif brand of same size. I was within my 30 day return policy.

This is only my Second Piece of electronics from Samsung and was my last.
The tech support does not know thier ass from a hole in the ground.
They try to blame everything on the customer.
Even the guys at the store where I bought the tv said the same thing about how bad tech support was.
Never buy Samscum you will be sorry!!!
Just rude asses on the phone and they are always right and its your fault

I bought a Samsung camera and phone at the ame time. Double awful waste of money, neither has ever worked efficiently and Samsung customer service is the worst. Today, Christmas day, my ridiculously expensive (I've gotten better photos with a disposable camera) camera quit working. Well, Merry Christmas to me...now I can go buy a camera that I don't despise. Anything but a Samsung!

I have had this printer since last March. I used it literally a handful of times to print some color labels for my biz and for a handful of blk and white prints.

It started having a stripe pattern on the left hand side of the page ruining several labels- this happened two days ago. Then a piece of paper got stuck in the orange roller ball thing at the top- guess what, it is impossible to get paper out of that thing, no dials to move it and if you touch it is is damaged and ruined. Also no way to take that piece out if you try to.

I live chatted with Samsung support. They were useless- gave me links telling me to replace the toner and then clean the printer. The paper jam link video did not address something getting jammed in this area, the orange roller ball or whatever it is called.

I have hardly used this, it doesn't need toner, the inside was practically spotless.

The agent informed me that my warranty was up, based on when it was manufactured- who warranties their products based on that?

If I produce a receipt I get to ship it to Samsung, pay for that and possibly get it back in some sort of working condition, but who knows for how long.

If not I have to pay for everything and who knows how long it will take or how much it will cost.

If I remember correctly I paid $150 for this- it's not worth it.

This is imo a very bad purchase, it seemed great, truly, I was very happy with it, but now I truly regret buying this printer.
UPDATE: after 4 communications with Samsung CS 3 online and 2 phone calls I have still not got this resolved... I was asked to send a receipt for my purchase which I did twice. My first 4 hour chat where I gave all the information was LOST by the inept cs agent. At the first phone call I received and apology and I was told I would be sent back a label to ship this printer back for repair as soon as my receipt was received. Now I'm on the phone with an agent named Byron, who is telling me instead of sending me a label to ship back the printer I have to do a firmware update. He is rude/smug and is now insisting I have to now do an update, yet this will not resolve a printer jamming paper as far as I know and this will not resolve printing a stripe a long the left side of the page as well as randomly printing all over the place. He is a very smug person who likes to bait people and not HELP them. He informed me that a supervisor was not available to speak to me, but I will get a call back. I will believe it when it happens. Like so many other "US" companies Samsung now ships out their CS calls to the philippines or somewhere where people can barely speak english and who try to keep you on the phone for several hours. After 2 minutes with those people you will feel like you want to strangle them. Then eventually if you demand better help you will get transferred to someone in the US who speaks english- the first CS I spoke with in the US was fine, But Byron was not, he is your typical nasty human being who loves to cause problems for people. I have now wasted too many hours of my life trying to get this resolved. My advice to you is DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG. I never will again. They make good tv/monitors and I was thinking of buying one at some point but I now will NOT do that. JUST DON'T DEAL WITH SAMSUNG, DON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCTS- IT'S NOT WORTH IT. I hate companies who don't stand behind their products and who maltreat customers.

In addition I feel very upset that I was lied to and given several different stories about what to do with this and the last agent was just plain nasty- unfortunately he has the same name as my noble cat Byron- he should change his name to rat fink...lol. This company just gives you the run around, so don't fall into this booby trap- listen to the 1 star reviews, they're dead on. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have about my review.

(1) TWO Blue-ray players both stopped playing blu-ray disks at the same age of about two years. Sam$ung's cost to repair is more than the new cost of new players! Obviously under-engineered products!

(2) The WiFi part of their color LASER printer, CLP-325W, never worked and Sam$sung was unhelpful.

(3) Tried to post a product review at Sam$sung's web site. Was simply factual. Sam$sung refused to post it and, in vague terms, told me to start over (as opposed to allowing me to edit my attempt).

Will not be buying anything from them for a long, long, time!

P.S. Don't like the way they steal others' intellectual property and depend on their size and lawyers to get away with it!

I have a complaint about a DMT800RHS Dishwasher (An $800 Top of the line model.)

I bought this dishwasher because it was one of the quietest models available.
When it runs, it does get dishes clean, if it's loaded properly.

First problem I had was that it would not turn on without having the circuit breaker turned off and back on again.
The circuit board was replaced under warranty within the first 90 days of ownership.

Lately it just runs for hours without completing its cycle and displays a 6E error code (This code is not in the Manual for troubleshooting.) The circuit board and control panel was replaced two more times.

The seal around the door also leaks and this has been diagnosed as unrepairable. I do not know how a dishwasher is designed so that a rubber seal is not able to be replaced.

I am still within my year manufacturer's warranty.

Samsung refuses to repair or replace the dishwasher and will only refund a partial amount for an equal replacement. (About $500 since I used rebates and a holiday sale to buy it.)
Do not buy Samsung appliances. Samsung does not build products that last longer than the warranty period. They refuse to replace or repair their failed products.

They will only offer a partial refund for replacement of their product, leaving you to pay out of pocket to get a replacement.

Like my Samsung cell phone. HATE MY BLU RAY. BD-E5400 may make me never own ANYTHING Samsung again. Customer service sucks. Called in several times over several days. I would jump through all their hoops for 4 minutes only to be told my "call did not go through". What the hell does that even mean? I'm on your f***ing line right NOW! Live chat is poor...slow responses. Then after 15 minutes, I'm told I have to do an online service request. I get almost done and it asks me to upload the receipt. Like I have that scanned from 7 1/2 months ago and on my computer... So, I have to contact the place I bought it from, get a copy of the receipt, and guess what...START ALL OVER. Serial number is so small I can't read it. I registered the product under my e-mail address, but it doesn't recognize my e-mail address. So, now on live chat again with someone doing service request for me. Had no reply from them since I started typing this. What a frickin' joke. Next Blu Ray will be from Amazon. I haven't had a problem with them standing behind junk and making it right (but I did with a company called "steelhead" that sells on there). Also, I hope SONY makes a better blu ray, cuz that's what I'll get. Sure as HELL won't be another Samsung. And don't even get me started on the 65 inch TV I bought of theirs. it dims by itself...not cool.

Made the mistake of buying an expensive Samsung dishwasher (DMT 800 - about $800) which was highly rated by Consumer's (another story). The unit was fine for about a year or 18 months when it started getting noisy and I had found a couple of little plastic tabs in the bottom that I could not place. After a while it stopped draining so after a LOT of research and troubleshooting, I found out that they had a design flaw with their upper rack adjusters where the plastic tabs would fail and fall into the tub and, in my case, into the drain pump. Now the unit only has a 1-year warranty but the racks have a 5-year warranty.

Guess what, not only would they not extrapolate that warranty to the pump their design flaw jammed but they disavow that the rack adjusting mechanism is part of the rack and, thereby, not under warranty.

Lose a customer for life over a $5 part? That's about as smart as the HS dropouts they have answering the phones!

Samsung sucks!

I recently bought the galaxy note 2.. it is perfect but what sucks is that you got only 4.5 months to enjoy your new phone that you bought for at least 700 dollars before the s4 comes out and be known as it is better than the note 2 in every thing.. 4.5 months later..the note 3 comes out and be better in every thing than the s4.. you see? You only got 4 months to enjoy a phone that is called the newest phone from Samsung Electronics!! But overall.. Samsung cell phones are very perfect and deserves to be known one of the best..

My daughters Galaxy died and the repair shop a Samsung licensee, called Samsung when they said there was no repair possible since the board was fried. The Samsung person said that they designed the phone to work for 18 months and the warranty was exceeded since it was 18 mons old. They designed the phone to work for 18 mons so what's the problem. I said I had a two year contract. Not their problem. Should have bought the ins for 6.95 @ mo. BUT its a 200$ deductible. So brag about camera capabilities and feel and look but if the thing doesn't work for the contract period your out of luck.

Own a 2010 PS58C7000 Plasma which is the Australian equivalent of the U.S PS58C8000 .
3 months out of warranty it developed a problem identical to this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEodqrQe7SY.

Samsung wanted to charge me to inspect and repair the problem, but I new my rights under consumer law and called their bluff and forced them to do something free of charge.

I told Samsung that this is a well documented problem worldwide for this model and a consumer who buys a high end television has an implied right to expect more than 14 months of trouble free use from premium electrical goods.

A technician came and tweaked the voltage setting to maximum, basically running the set out of specification which seemed to clear the problem. Although I had already researched this ''fix'' and had serious doubts about its longevity.

No new panel and circuit board for me?

The set after ''repair'' in my opinion has never had the same ability to display whites properly and introduced line bleed to the image.

Just over a year later and I can see evidence of the purple distortion returning so basically I never had a chance with this set right from day one. It was, and is, a lemon.

Now here's the kicker about 7 months ago I visited a good mate at his home, and guess what, he had the same model Samsung TV as me, and it you wouldn't believe it. It had exactly the same problem as my television.

Still to this day, good old Samsung will not admit that this was and still is a known manufacturing problem with this model.

I should have told them to stick their circuit tweak in the first instance and demanded the set be replaced or refunded, as because of my research, I knew better.

Repeat after me ''nice non pushy people finish last''

Worked on a Samsung L.C.D. monitor. Goes blank. Owner purchased a repair kit and video shows how to replace 5 electrolytic capacitors on the internal power supply board. This may or may not work. All 5 capacitors are typically swollen or ruptured. This condition is caused by "over volting" of the electrolytics. Replacing them is only a temporary fix.

Any Korean products are fit only for sending to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

Thank You

This is by far the worst screwing I've ever taken. It was appliances, phone and Tv. I complained on Facebook and I'm blocked from it. Not one bad word, threat or anything but facts. I've been so mad for so long and complained so much that I can't detail anymore. Listen to me and listen to me good! Don't buy anything from this company or any company that uses them when their outsourced.

My galaxy s3 won't charge after 6 months I sent it back to Samsung they said it was an internal problem with the phone and that they won't fix it. So now I'm stuck with a paperweight. I will never buy samsung again.

Samsung is the worst company ever!! Those stupid b#@!%*s lie sup much.
So I flashed a custom Rom on my galaxy y, and it bricked. Out of warranty, still I went to a service centre, I already knew what the problem was but they said that you are mistaken, there is water in the motherboard. It was fine cost me 50$ for changing the motherboard, when all that was needed was a free stock rom flash!!!
Also, I bought their sd card, found that the latest card had a sticker on it, and it was 12 years old. Service centres said that I was conning them!
They deserve to be shut down for mere shitiness!!

We bought a 60 inch smart tv, got it home, struggled for hours to get it up on the wall, had to use books on the mantle to get it high enough to hang, then plugged it in and ran the setup. The channel changer did not work consistently. Service walked us through the setup several times, no improvement. Technician determined the IR extender is not working. The technician says now I must take the tv down off the wall, that is almost impossible it's just too heavy, and Samsung don't care. Apparently it's my fault for buying a defective Samsung product....

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy Mega on 12/22/2014 and activated on Sprint. The phone has started dropping off the network in various cities and my wife will ask me if I have a issue in signal strength and to check my note 2 and it has full bars. So it appears with a phone less than two month's old it has a defect and you would think Samsung would send you a refurbished phone. No they do not! per the customer rep. They don't stand by their product in my opinion and I will never buy a product from them again nor recommend them to anyone. Today is 1/27/2014

I purchased a Samsung dryer about 9 months ago which is well within their one year warranty period. My wife put a load in Friday night and the dryer was still running when we awoke on Saturday morning. I promptly went to the Samsung website and created a service request. The website says I should expect a reply within 48 hours. They didn't respond back to me by the end of the day on Tuesday. On Tuesday night I called Samsung service and they said they use a local service company and that service company would be calling me in the next 24 - 48 hours to schedule the service call. Now they are saying up to 4 business days before I can even schedule a service call. That is totally unacceptable. Fortunately for me I called Lowe's and they are able to schedule service directly and cut out Samsung. If you are also unhappy please call 201-229-4000 and ask for Greg Lee the CEO of Samsung USA. Tell Greg what you think of their service.

Used a Galaxy S4 for 5 months and since upgrade to 4.4.2. telephone function is unreliable. Went for repairs THREE times and Samsung will not do a thing... Bad luck; 550 euro down the drain. They really suck.

From the sounds of everyone else's stories I got lucky. My Samsung 40" LCD (LN40D630) almost made it 3 years then the tv acted drunk and started producing a blurred double image.

I called Samsung and and I can tell you their customer service reps started the day with a dozen f****s to give and ended with 12 f**** left. As soon as they found out I was it of warranty they gave me another number to call of their "authorized repair center", which is in a city 8 hours away, and hung up. The repair company's customer service was a joke, too. That's probably why Samsung subcontracted them for "repairs".

The company told me they couldn't talk to me about the tv without a ticket number. Samsung never gave me one. Called them back and was told I wouldn't get a ticket number because I'm or of warranty. Explained that they told me to call them. Gave an answer that didn't even form a coherent sentence. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was very quickly told he was in a meeting and unavailable to take calls.

I this point I explained that I have 2 TVs by them, a phone and a laptop. Her response? "I'm glad you're enjoying our variety of products. If we can ever help you, feel free to give us a call" and hung up.

Samsung, if you were a person I'd punch you in the throat.

On 6/28/2014, I purchased a Samsung 43" Plasma TV. Today I found out Samsung doesn't stand behind their defective products. The 2 Ferrite Cores supplied with the TV to place on the power cord and the antenna cable are to large for the cables. They won't clamp on and stay in place per the directions. After telling me they would send correctly sized Ferrite Cores, the 3rd representative I was transferred to who was to send them refused to do so. She explained that my TV has an invalid serial number. Interesting way to deny a warranty issue and I find it unacceptable. I spent ~45 minutes on the phone. The first of 3 representatives didn't seem to understand English.

Both my receipt and the TV box say it is 01ZJ3CAF 416650.

Several years ago, I encountered a similar problem with a Furuno fish finder. One quick phone call and Furuno technical support told me there had been a packaging error and sent out the proper sized Ferrite Core. Though this was the way I expected to be treated when I called Samsung today, Samsung chose not to stand behind their product and honor their warranty.

just got a Samsung Galaxy cellphone. The phone died in less than 10 days.
I bring it back to the store, they have a 7 day policy, too bad for me, I have to take it to Samsung customer service.
Right upfront they tell me that unlike apple, they dont replace phones, they only do repairs.
I just bought the phone....I don't want to have to wait for a clear defect on their end.
They suck, lat time ever I buy a samsung
